Once Upon a Time, in the faraway land of Canada, this baby boy and his family went camping. His father comes from a long line of hearty camping folk. His mother - not so much - as in "not ever before".In Canada, they said, even in July, there would be cool temperatures, clear water in the lake, and great fishing.....
........Not! They either lied or simply have really bad memories. {just kidding}
Despite the heat and somewhat uncomfortable camping conditions, his mom came home with this snapshot of her baby boy. And with a little editing, I was able to change it from slightly underexposed and flat, to an image that makes everyone in the family smile.This little baby is about to graduate from college, but Once Upon a Time, he went camping with his family in Canada....
You can now see the sparkle in his little eye and the dribble of baby spit on his chin. What a grumpy, adorable little face!
ReplyDeleteI remember bits and pieces of the Canada camping trip. I think in a conversation last summer I said "I would never have gone on a trip like that with a 3 month old! You were very brave to take it on like you did." We still like to camp...but, California weather and parks make it so much easier. Love the picture - the eyes till it all!
